How do you wire and install wall-mounted pool lights? Five easy steps for installation.

How do you wire and install wall-mounted pool lights for RGB and single-color modes in concrete pools and liner pools? First, installation differs between RGB (multicolor) and single-color modes. RGB mode requires connecting a signal-synchronizing remote controller, allowing for remote control of color effects, transition speeds, and brightness via a handheld remote or mobile app; single-color mode is simpler, requiring only a connection to a transformer.

Installation instructions for wall-mounted pool lights in concrete pools:

1. Before installation, ensure the concrete pool wall surface is flat; position the mounting bracket flush against the wall and determine the appropriate mounting location.

2. Secure the bracket to the pool wall using the round-head Phillips stainless steel self-tapping screws provided with the light, ensuring the bracket is firmly fixed.

3. Reserve a cable entry hole in the concrete pool wall next to the bracket; feed the light's power cable through this hole and connect it to the transformer or junction box circuit.

4. If the light's faceplate has a "TOP" mark, orient it upwards (at the 12 o'clock position). If there is no "TOP" mark, orient the screw holes upwards (at the 12 o'clock position).

5. Align the screw holes on the light's faceplate with those on the bracket, and secure the faceplate using the countersunk Phillips stainless steel self-tapping screws provided with the light.

Installation instructions for pool wall lights in pools with PVC liners:

1. Before installation, ensure the pool wall surface is smooth and flat, then cut two appropriately sized holes in the liner;

2. Place two O-rings (supplied with the light) onto the mounting bracket; pass the bracket through the liner, then place the remaining two O-rings and two transparent waterproof gaskets onto the bracket; secure the bracket to the liner using the hex nuts;

3. Feed the light's power cable through the cable-locking nut, the waterproof cable seal, and the cable hole in the bracket, then tighten the cable-locking nut;

4. Coil the excess cable behind the light to facilitate future maintenance;
